The IsoTester® is a stand-alone instrument capable of measuring color, trash, and moisture
of each sample produced at the gin. The IsoTester®, is fully compatible with the gin environment and
capable of quickly and accurately assessing the quality of the ginned lint at the moment it exits the bale press.
This capability offers some exciting opportunities. They include the immediate feedback of quality information to both
ginner and producer, enabling them to fine-tune the harvesting and ginning processes as needed to maximize
profits... and feed-forwarding the data to optimize bale handling in the warehouse,
and for efficient B2B marketing.
Schaffner Technologies developed the IsoTester® based on the following principles:

in the production, ginning, warehousing, and marketing of cotton;
